Coffee Mornings and book club!

Well im back and it has been a bit of a hectic week, what with book club meetings and my coffee mornings with the NCT (National Childbirth Trust). Not to mention my singing career, which is starting to move along very nicely!

IVF is generally known to be a stressful time but the treatments I have gone through haven’t always seemed so bad thanks to the NCT coffee mornings, the group of mums I have met have turned into a great support network! My miracle baby is a ray of sunshine yet in the beginning things didn’t always seem so rosy!

The statistical chances of falling pregnant first time round are slim to none, about 20% of women fall pregnant during each cycle of IVF, That’s an 80% non success arte! After five years of trying for a little miracle my husband and I decided to try IVF and after the go we rejoiced at what would soon turn into our ‘Miracle Baby’.

Although we eventually got our little miracle it wasn’t through lack of trying, we finally received the news we had been longing to hear! We were pregnant!
The day we found out for sure was one of the happiest days of my life and it will always remain in the deepest part of my heart.

Miracle Baby is born

This is my first blog and it’s kind of a mile stone in my life to finally be one step closer to where I want to be. I’m a musician by name and by nature and musical notes flow through my veins.

My life seems to be quite like a storybook, I have overcome some very difficult times to be where I am today and I think this is the perfect opportunity to share the ups and downs I have gone through and help others in similar situations get through their hard times.

I have always loved music. It has been my solace in bad times and in the good times helped me focus on what it is that I really want out of life. I don’t dream about being a celebrity, like Britney Spears. Stardom has brought her nothing but misery! My ultimate dream is to reach out and be heard all over the world. I want to be known for my musical talents and the journey I have been through to reach the top.

Although music is my passion family and friends are top of my agenda at the moment. My husband and I have a miracle baby after years of trying only to find we couldn’t conceive naturally so we tried IVF. What is more of a miracle is that baby J was conceived with only 4 goes at the wonder treatment.
